What's new? Lots!

Long time no blog!    We're revamping the look of the website and getting ready to add a lot of screen printing supplies for printers on Vancouver Island or around the province. If you check in occasionally, we will try to keep you updated.

Watch for SCREEN THE WORLD, an online educational initiative we have been working on for a while. Designed for schools, community groups or individuals who want to get started using screenprinting as a creative tool and like the idea of making things, there will be plans and videos to lead you through building presses for t-shirts and flatstock, an exposing frame, and a washout booth so you can get started. Then we show in easy to follow steps how to print t-shirts, posters, art prints, wood, glass, stickers, leather and other fabrics with your designs.

Courses - we have started up our weekend Intro classes again, One in Oct. One in Dec. Go to the store to book. Max 5 to a class, restricted to BC residents only until COVID restrictions are lifted.

RENOS! We are going to make some room for some long awaited equipment. Stay tuned, and no worries - we require visitors to wear masks anyway, so hopefully the dust won't be too bad. When we're done we are going to have a more efficient shop. More on this in a month or two.

Training opportunities - If you read this far, you are the first to know......We have received funding to launch a 10 week program in January 2021. We are looking for Indigenous Art Entrepreneurs - people who want to learn how to screenprint their art, how to price it, and how to sell it. You will gain experience in a production environment working with our staff, and receive coaching and encouragement to develop a line of goods, a brand, and training to help build your ideas into a creative business.
